HP LaserJet 5P and 5MP printers are designed for individuals and small work groups. They meet high-quality printing standards with true 600 × 600-dpi (dots per inch) resolution, 120 levels of gray, and a variety of fonts.
The HP LaserJet 5P printer uses HP's Enhanced PCL 5 (Printer Command Language Level 5), a printer language that is standard for desktop laser printing in PC operating environments, such as Microsoft (R) Windows and DOS.
The HP LaserJet 5MP printer also includes the Adobe (R) PostScript Level 2 printer language, used with the Apple Macintosh, as well as desktop laser printing in environments such as Windows.
