Frequently Asked Questions
The 6517 uses 5 toner cartridges, including PAN FQ-TA20, PAN FQ-TA19 and PAN FQ-TA10.
PAN FQ-TA19 (PAN FQTA19) prints 5000 pages, PAN FQ-TA20 (PAN FQTA20) prints 10000 pages. Choose PAN FQ-TA20 (PAN FQTA20) for high-volume printing (lower cost per page); PAN FQ-TA19 (PAN FQTA19) costs less upfront for occasional use.
The PAN FQ-TA20 cartridge has an approximate yield of 10000 pages.
For PAN FQ-TA10 you can choose Genuine Panasonic (PAN FQ-TA10 (PAN FQTA10)) or a Remanufactured option (CTC FQ-TA10) at a lower price per page, same 5000 page yield.
A "Supply Problem" message on the 6517 usually points to a chip-communication hiccup rather than an empty cartridge. Power-cycle the printer (off for 30 seconds, then on), reseat the cartridge until it clicks into place, and gently clean the gold chip contacts with a dry cloth. If the message returns, a replacement PAN FQ-TA20 will clear it.
