Frequently Asked Questions

The Superscript 1260N uses 5 toner cartridges, including ASD M4683GA, XER 13R548 and IBM 63H3005.

CTC 20100 prints 144 pages, ASD M4683GA prints 6000 pages. Choose ASD M4683GA for high-volume printing (lower cost per page); CTC 20100 costs less upfront for occasional use.

The ASD M4683GA cartridge has an approximate yield of 6000 pages.

For ASD M4683GA you can choose Genuine Apple (ASD M4683GA) or a Remanufactured option (CTC M4683GA) at a lower price per page, same 6000 page yield. For XER 13R548 you can choose Genuine Xerox (XER 13R548) or a Remanufactured option (CTC 13R548) at a lower price per page, same 6000 page yield. For IBM 63H3005 you can choose Genuine IBM (IBM 63H3005) or a Remanufactured option (CTC 63H3005) at a lower price per page, same 6000 page yield.

A "Supply Problem" message on the Superscript 1260N usually points to a chip-communication hiccup rather than an empty cartridge. Power-cycle the printer (off for 30 seconds, then on), reseat the cartridge until it clicks into place, and gently clean the gold chip contacts with a dry cloth. If the message returns, a replacement ASD M4683GA will clear it.
